This humorous commercial was my take on 5-Star’s absurd, witty advertising style. The story follows two girls
participating in an art competition who, after eating a 5-Star, completely zone out and end up presenting a random
arrangement of wrappers as “abstract art.” It’s quirky, sarcastic, and self-aware, designed to resonate with a young
audience that loves irony and humor.
The biggest challenge was conceptual, striking the perfect balance between absurdity and smart humor that still feels
on-brand for 5-Star. It was also my first experiment with CGI, where I integrated subtle 3D elements to elevate the storytelling.
This project taught me how to translate brand tonality into visuals and keep the humor alive through pacing, color grading,
and editing rhythm.
